A PERFECT WAY TO END THE DAY…
After a good day spent in her shop, A Simple Stitch, Eliza tidies up, calls her big yellow cat, Cody and makes her way up the stairs to her lovely apartment filled with her favorite finds, antiques and family heirlooms. The window is where she stops on the landing, mornings to greet the day and peek at the sunrise and evenings to thank God for the blessings and catch a glimpse of the moon and stars. A few more steps and she stops for a glance at the portrait of Mimzie hanging at the top of the long stairway. This is where she gets her strength, carrying the memories and telling the stories of her grandma that raised her.
After supper, she fixes a cup of tea and finds her way to her favorite thinking spot. Her comfy chair. It is just soft enough to relax, enough room to make her lists or read a book and nook for Cody to curl up beside her. Always having an afghan or quilt within an arm’s reach, it is a perfect place to end a day and feed her soul.
Our wish for you is a comfy spot to do the same, and hopefully read one of your favorite Simple Stitch Books before you drift off to sleep!
